Continuing education is an absolute must in the nowadays fast-paced translation and interpreting industry. So I am constantly striving to keep up to date my professional knowledge, including recent developments in the subject areas I work in, changes in terminology, and updates to technical tools I use in my work. To achieve this, among other things, I attend workshops organized by the Northern California Translators Association (NCTA) and online webinars offered by the American Translators Association (ATA) and the California Healthcare Interpreting Association (CHIA).
